The warning signs

Your Website May Be Costing You Customers Without You Realizing It

A website can become outdated long before a business notices the impact. Poor mobile UX, confusing navigation, slow pages, outdated technology, weak messaging, poor SEO, and unclear CTAs all reduce trust and conversions — quietly, and without ever showing up as a complaint.

A Complete Website Redesign From Strategy to Launch

Website Audit

Review UX, content, SEO, performance, technology, analytics, accessibility, conversion paths, and technical issues. A redesign is the cheapest moment to fix accessibility properly — see our accessibility audit.

UX Redesign

Improve navigation, information architecture, user journeys, page hierarchy, forms, and calls to action.

UI Redesign

A modern, consistent visual system aligned with brand positioning and what your audience now expects.

Content Structure

Reorganize messaging, headings, service information, proof, FAQs, and conversion content.

Responsive Redesign

Improve the experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile rather than only fixing what breaks.

Performance Optimization

Improve images, scripts, fonts, caching, code delivery, and page architecture.

SEO Redesign

Improve URLs, metadata, content hierarchy, internal linking, technical foundations, and indexability.

Technology Modernization

Replace outdated components, improve architecture, or migrate platform where it is genuinely required.

CMS Improvement

Make content easier for your own team to update, so the site does not drift out of date again. Where that means changing platform, see CMS development.

Conversion Optimization

Strengthen CTAs, forms, trust signals, service pages, and the journeys between them.

Scope

Do You Need a Redesign, Rebuild, or Complete Replacement?

These are three different projects with three different budgets. Being told which one you actually need is more useful than being sold the largest.
Smallest

Visual / UX Redesign

Best when the underlying technology is healthy but the experience, branding, structure, or conversion path needs improvement.

Middle

Redesign + Development

Best when both the experience and the technical implementation need substantial improvement.

Largest

Complete Rebuild / Migration

Best when the existing platform is obsolete, insecure, difficult to maintain, or unable to support what the business now needs.

Our approach: recommend the least disruptive option that can realistically achieve the business outcome. If a UX refresh will get you there, we will say so rather than quoting a rebuild.
Audit first

Start With What Your Existing Website Already Knows

A redesign should not blindly replace everything. Existing traffic, rankings, backlinks, content, conversion data, customer behaviour, and your best-performing pages all have something to say about the new structure — and they are the cheapest research you will ever get.

What we look at

Analytics Search Console Indexed URLs Organic traffic Top landing pages Backlinks Metadata Content Internal links Page speed Mobile UX Forms Conversion data CMS Hosting Integrations Security

What comes out of it

A decision against every asset that matters:

  • Keep It works. Carry it across untouched.
  • Improve The page earns traffic but underperforms once people arrive.
  • Rewrite The topic is right, the content is not.
  • Consolidate Several thin pages competing for one intent.
  • Redirect Retiring the URL, keeping the equity.
  • Remove No traffic, no links, no purpose.
The part that goes wrong most often

Redesign Without Throwing Away Your Search Visibility

A visually better website can still lose traffic if URLs, content, internal links, redirects, metadata, or technical settings are changed carelessly. This is where redesigns quietly fail — months later, when the new site looks fine and the enquiries have halved.
URL inventory
URL mapping
301 redirects
Metadata migration
Canonical review
Sitemap update
Robots review
Internal-link review
Structured-data review
Image/asset migration
Analytics continuity
Search Console monitoring
No redesign can guarantee rankings, and anyone who says otherwise is selling something. What this work does is preserve the equity you already have and build a stronger technical and content foundation for what comes next. Those are the two things actually within our control.
UX & information architecture

Make Your Website Easier to Understand and Navigate

Visitors should understand what the business does, who it serves, why it is credible, and what to do next — within seconds, not after three clicks of exploration.
Simplified navigation
Clear service hierarchy
Better page grouping
Search
Breadcrumbs
Stronger headings
Scannable content
Better forms
Contextual CTAs
Related content
Better mobile navigation
Conversion

Turn More Website Visitors Into Qualified Enquiries

The redesign should create a clear path from awareness to consideration to action — and then let you see whether it worked.

Elements we build in

  • A clear primary CTA
  • Service-specific CTAs
  • Short forms
  • Visible contact options
  • Click-to-call
  • Trust signals
  • Testimonials & case studies
  • FAQs
  • Pricing guidance where appropriate
  • A strong final CTA

And then measure

CTA clicks Form starts Form completions Phone clicks Enquiry quality Proposal requests Conversion rate

Without these in place before launch, "did the redesign work?" becomes a matter of opinion. With them, it is a question with an answer.

Mobile-first

Deliver a Better Experience on Every Screen

Mobile visitors should not get a reduced version of the desktop experience. Navigation, content hierarchy, forms, buttons, images, and conversion actions are designed for the smaller screen deliberately.
  • Touch-friendly controls
  • Responsive typography
  • Fast loading
  • Simplified navigation
  • Readable content
  • Mobile forms
  • Sticky CTAs where appropriate
  • Optimized images
Performance

Make the New Website Faster and More Efficient

A redesign is the natural moment to remove unnecessary scripts, optimize media, simplify components, improve caching, modernize code, and improve server-side performance — because you are already touching all of it.
Core Web Vitals
Page load performance
Server response time
Image weight
JavaScript/CSS delivery
Third-party scripts
Mobile performance
No PageSpeed number is promised before the redesigned site has been built and tested. The score depends on your content, your integrations, your third-party scripts and your hosting — several of which are not ours to control.
Content & messaging

Say the Right Things More Clearly

A visual redesign cannot compensate for unclear messaging. If the old site did not explain what you do, the new one will fail to do it more attractively.

Stronger Headlines

Headlines that state the customer's problem and your answer, instead of describing your company.

Clear Service Descriptions

What each service is, who it is for, and what the buyer gets — in the words they would use.

Benefit-Focused Copy

Outcomes rather than feature lists, with the proof placed where the doubt occurs.

Better Page Hierarchy

A heading structure that a reader can skim and a search engine can parse.

FAQs & Trust Content

The questions your sales team answers repeatedly, answered before they are asked.

Industry & Location Content

Where it genuinely serves a search intent — not as a template duplicated across thirty towns.

Technology

Modernize the Technology Behind Your Website

When the existing site is difficult to maintain or cannot support what the business now needs, a redesign is the right moment to fix that too.
Modern framework or CMS
Cleaner architecture
API integrations
Better hosting
Updated dependencies
Improved security
Better deployment process
Easier content management
Scalable components
Technology should serve business requirements. We will not migrate you to a different platform simply because a newer one exists — a migration you did not need is cost, risk and retraining with nothing on the other side of it. If a deeper technology decision is the real question, that belongs with technology consulting.
Integrations

Connect Your Website to the Tools Your Business Uses

The goal is less manual work, better data flow, and a customer journey that does not break at the point where the website hands over to a person.

CRM & Marketing Automation

Enquiries landing where your sales process actually starts, with the context attached.

Email Marketing

Sign-ups, lists, and campaign triggers connected to the site rather than exported by hand.

Analytics & Search Tools

Continuity across the redesign so historical comparison is still possible after launch.

Booking & Payment

Appointments, bookings, and payment flows built into the journey rather than bolted beside it.

ERP & Accounting

Connections to the back-office systems that the website's data eventually has to reach.

Chat & Contact Tools

WhatsApp, chat, and callback tools placed where they help and removed where they interrupt.

Is Your Website Ready for a Redesign?

One of these on its own is rarely enough. Several together usually means the site is now working against you rather than for you.
The website looks outdated
The mobile experience is poor
Traffic or enquiries are weak
Your services have changed
The brand has evolved
Navigation is confusing
Pages are slow
The CMS is difficult to use
The technology is outdated
The site is hard to secure
Integrations are unreliable
The conversion path is unclear
Competitors offer a better experience

FAQs

Have a question? We have the answer. If you don't see your question here, feel free to reach out to us.

How do I know if I need a redesign?

If the site is outdated, difficult to use, slow, poorly optimized for mobile, hard to manage, weak in search, or not generating enough enquiries, an audit can identify the best path — including the possibility that you need less than a full redesign.

Will a redesign affect my Google rankings?

It can, in both directions. Poorly planned changes cause traffic loss; a carefully managed redesign improves the technical and content foundation. URLs, redirects, metadata, content, internal links, and indexing all have to be handled deliberately — which is why the SEO migration plan is part of the project, not an afterthought.

Can you keep my existing content?

Yes. Content can be retained, improved, consolidated, rewritten, or removed based on its value and performance — which the audit establishes before anything is decided.

Can you keep the same domain?

Yes. In most redesign projects the existing domain stays exactly as it is.

Do I need to change my CMS?

Not necessarily. The decision should rest on maintainability, security, functionality, performance, integrations, and business requirements — not on which platform is currently fashionable.

Can you redesign only selected pages?

Yes. A phased redesign can target the homepage, high-value service pages, landing pages, or other important areas first, which also spreads the cost and the risk.

Can you improve website speed during the redesign?

Yes. Performance can be addressed through media optimization, code improvements, caching, hosting, architecture, and third-party script management.

Do you provide post-launch support?

Yes. Support can cover bugs, updates, monitoring, security, content changes, performance, and ongoing improvements.
